The existing roof was a single layer built-up roof that was extremely old and well past it’s serviceable life.
Continuing to repair the roof was no longer a viable option, therefore roof replacement was chosen.
43,500 sq ft.
First, an infrared moisture scan needed to be performed to determine if any moisture was trapped within the existing roof assembly. Once this was determined, 800 sq ft. of wet insulation on the front lower roof needed to be removed. Finally, a Duro-Last 40mil PVC Mechanically Fastened roof system with a 15 year manufacturer’s warranty was installed.
