Al was in the roofing industry since 1961, where he learned the field from the bottom up, first delivering product to the trades under a roofing distributor, then working as a territorial manager, covering lower New York and northern New Jersey, for one of the industry’s largest roofing manufacturers. During this tenure, Al perceived the need for a greater degree of professionalism and dependability within the roofing industry. In September of 1977, determined to establish a company based on a commitment to the customer in terms of knowledge and service, he founded CRS. After 43 years, it was time to move on to the next chapter of his life. He is currently enjoying retired life with his wife, Joan, in sunny Florida.
Since 1983 Dean has been an integral part of the family roofing business. Learning from the ground up, he’s touched all aspects of the business, from estimates and repairs as a teenager to business development and marketing. Dean has grown with CRS for decades and is a trusted staple customers and employees have come to know and love. Today, Dean oversees all aspects of the business, including residential, commercial and office operations. He’s built a great team and prides himself on great customer service, quality workmanship and employee satisfaction in a family-like environment. Dean also sits on the Board of Advisors of Spring Lake Toys Foundation, a nonprofit and 501c3 organization dedicated to supporting and assisting children with serious illnesses and special needs.
After graduating from Castleton College in 1980, Ginna spent the first 20 years of her career in the Insurance industry; first as a field claims adjuster and eventually a claims department supervisor. In 2003, Ginna joined CRS as an office manager and quickly became hands on in all aspects of the day-to-day office operations. Recently, Ginna has been instrumental in incorporating an innovative time tracking system into CRS, enabling the company to efficiently track employee time, locations and costs.
After decades of experience and licensure in various fields pertaining to finance such as transportation, real estate and insurance, Gina has recently joined our team as the lead administrator in the accounts receivable department.
Shortly after graduating from the University of Quindio in Armenia, Colombia, Jairo moved to the United States where he worked in the roofing industry as a laborer. In 1999, he joined CRS as a mechanic and quickly worked his way up through the ranks becoming a foreman and then a field supervisor. Today, Jairo runs the entire commercial roofing division, focusing on quality installations and customer service.
Michael was born into the world of home improvement and has been involved ever since. Both his grandfather and father were business owners within the field, which allowed Michael to learn the ins and outs from a young age. He spent summers accompanying his father on jobs and consultations with homeowners. He attended school for business but realized he wanted to succeed his father and take over the company. After his father’s sudden passing, Michael decided to continue following in his father’s footsteps. He began looking for a dynamic team to join and found CRS. We gladly welcomed him into our family.
Katie joined CRS in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant to the Commercial VP. After 15+ years working in Healthcare, Katie’s top priority is providing customers with an exceptional experience every time. In her free time she enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with family.
Amanda worked 8+ years in the Operations Coordinator role and took some time off from work to raise her two boys. Amanda strives to work efficiently for CRS customers needs and communicates well with her team. She enjoys spending time with family, and traveling.
Donna is an experienced Administrative Assistant who recently joined CRS in 2024. With a focus on supporting both commercial and residential sectors, Donna brings years of expertise in assisting senior-level management and a wealth of customer service experience to her role. Beyond her professional endeavors, Donna enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, as well as exploring the vibrant surroundings of New Jersey.
September has been part of the CRS team since 2012. Often spotted hanging around the pantry, she has a passion for treats and head scratches. When not assisting her colleagues, you can find her curled up for an afternoon nap after a hard day’s work. We often have to remind her that we sell roofs, not woofs, but it’s ok – she’ll catch on…eventually.
Lucas Fragala has been in the business of consulting and sales for over 8 years. His main priority is to ensure each customer's needs are met and that they have an exceptional experience in the process.Lucas also offers expertise in solar energy from his in depth experience in the field. In his free time, Lucas enjoys spending time with his family, running, and watching sports.
Bill recently joined CRS on the commercial sales side of the business. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS in Marketing. He comes to us with over 20 years of professional, field sales, experience having worked with some Fortune 500 companies over the years. When Bill's not working he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, playing tennis & skiing when time permits.
Christian Walsh has been in construction sales, staffing, and team management for over a decade. Working with teams as small as 2 and as large as 100 to complete projects from single family residential to superstructure builds across multiple trades in the tri-state area. In his free time he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, travel, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
In 2018 Dean joined CRS where he spent the next two summers working in the warehouse. In 2020, he graduated from Don Bosco Preparatory High School and started his freshman year of college at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. On his breaks, Dean acts as Field Support for CRS where he focuses on maximizing the production in the field by providing the necessary support needed on both commercial and residential projects.
Jake comes from a construction background, with his father owning his own handyman company. After graduating from Rutgers University, Jake started to learn the ins and outs of the family business. From tiling floors to building decks and chatting with homeowners, Jake was able to experience how to make every home improvement job a successful one.
Richie is our roll-off driver, ensuring equipment is safely and efficiently delivered to the job sites.
Nick joined the CRS team in 2020. With over 12 years of roofing experience, Nick brings his knowledge and attention to detail with him in his new role at CRS. Since joining CRS, Nick has been responsible for service and maintenance for our commercial and residential roofing customers.
Fredy is a commercial roofing foreman that has been with CRS for more than 15 years. From the very beginning Fredy took pride in his work and his ability to get jobs done on time and on budget without ever sacrificing quality.

John joined the team in 2015. His extensive background in the home improvement industry has given him the necessary experience to excel at his job.
Orlando started working in the industry almost twenty years ago. He proved to be an excellent craftsman early on and it was not long before he became a foreman in charge of his own crews. He has known and worked closely with Mike Stone for the last fifteen years. It was no surprise the two reunited at CRS.
