W.L. Gore

Location:

1746 Route 34 North Wall Township, NJ

Existing Condition:

The existing roof was a structural metal roof panel that began to leak terribly over several clean rooms.

Options:

Repairing the seams and flashings were an option, but a new roof was chosen due to the sensitivity of the clean rooms below.

Size of Roof:

30,000 sq ft.

Scope of Work:

CRS needed to install a 125# EPS flute filler between the metal roof panels and a 1” polyisocyanurate cover board over the top. The insulation was held in place using Carlisle FAST insulation adhesive, creating a solid surface without penetrating the existing metal roof panels. A Carlisle Fully Adhered 60mil EPDM roof system was installed with a 20 year manufacturer’s warranty.
